Chrissy was already talking to the
other guy when Chris was approaching them. The guy said, Hi, my name is Bryan Slate, and whats your name, flower? Chrissy
blushed when Bryan told her that, and she said, My names Chrissy. Its so sweet of you to call me flower. Chris didnt want
to be rude, so he walked up to Bryan and introduced himself to him. Im sorry, but my cousin and I have to resume our training.
Chrissy gave Chris a stare and sighed. Ill talk to you later, Bryan! yelled Chrissy as Chris was pulling her across the room.
Jared
watched the whole thing and taunted Chrissy, OOO, Chrissys got a boyfriend. Be quiet, Jared, snapped Chrissy, Although that
would be nice. Chris said, Lets get back to training, then you can flirt with Bryan again. Chrissy grunted.
Ill take
on the winner, Jared said. Chrissy and Chris agreed that their battle would be a two-on-two battle.
Chrissy: Go, Croconaw!
Chris:
Go, Bayleef!
Chrissy: Scratch attack!
Chris: Dodge it and use your razor leaf!
Chrissy: Watch out! Use your water
gun!
Chris: Ha! Bad move Chrissy, Bayleef; use your razor leaf again!
Chrissy: No! Croconaw!
Jared says, I guess
Ill be taking on Chris. I think Chrissy lost on purpose. I know! Its because she wanted to see Bryan again, Right? Chris said
suspiciously. Chrissy hesitated. OK, I give. Youre right. I lost on purpose so I could talk to Bryan again. Just let me go
and battle Jared. Chris signaled her to go and Chrissy ran to the other side of the room to see Bryan.
Chrissy found
Bryan talking to some other trainers when she saw him. Chrissy tapped him on the shoulder, and Bryan turned around. Oh hi,
Chrissy. Let me introduce you to my best buds, Jason and Charles, said Bryan. Jason and Charles gave Chrissy a quick hello.
Chrissy said, Bryan, I wanted to talk to you some more. Its nothing private, really, just find out more about you. Bryan agreed
and said, Well, Chrissy, Im twelve years old, a Pokemon trainer, I have two brothers and three sisters, and my siblings, parents,
and I live together in the same house. Chrissy exclaimed, Wow, you have a big family! Im an only child, so Chris is whom I
practically call my brother. Im also twelve. What a coincidence! Bryan smiled and gave Chrissy his phone number and address.
Chrissy gave hers to Bryan. Bryan said, I live in Cherrygrove City. I only come here twice a week, so I guess it was fate
that brought us together. I live in New Bark Town. Cool! I can go visit you sometimes, Chrissy said, To tell you the truth,
I think that our friend, Jared has a crush on me. I kind of like him, but only as a friend. Chrissy saw Chris calling her
over, so she waved good-bye to Bryan and blew him a kiss.
As the threesome walked out of the training hall, Chrissy
had an idea. Chris, lets go visit Bryan at his house sometime, Chrissy squealed, He only lives in Cherrygrove City. Chris
asked, Why do you want to include me? Hes your guy. I cant go alone, Chris. Mom always told me to travel with somebody. Besides,
maybe youll teach him a thing or two about Pokemon training. Chrissy replied. Jared tried not to stick his nose into any of
this, so he kept quiet the whole time Chris and Chrissy talked about Bryan on their way back home.
